One of the speakers just crapped out and started making an alarming buzzing sound, even when not plugged into the mixer. Tried a different power supply, and still the buzz. Tried switching the fuse, but it's not the problem. I called B&H and they said to contact Marathon. I went to Marathon and there is NO PHONE NUMBER. So I filled out a support request on their site four days ago and still haven't heard ... I bought the passive ones (no internal amp) Speakon and 1/4" jacks, internal xover, titanium tweeter horn, big handle, rubber feet, heavy woofer. Sounds like a studio monitor. Tripod ready. A pair of DJ-153 speakers, a new pair of ENT-15 and a new MA-4050 amp. I purchased them at International DJ on 6th and Broadway, downtown Los Angeles---ask for Domingo. But you can find them at Six Star Dj online or your local shop or check Google and buy them online anywhere in the world. You can't beat Marathon's prices for the quality. The MA4050 is such a bad ass amp. I can tell you that this amp has more power than most ... It has passed the test for me. I DJ'd and MC'd a 11 hour OKTOBERFEST here in LA and the amp ran solid for 11 friggin hours. It didnt heat up or crap out. Its a very good amp. I bought it yesterday, opened the box and put it in my rack case and it performed flawlessly. I recommend it to any application. I don't know if its really 800wpc at 8ohms but it seems close, it ran my 2 Marathon dj 153 way speakers and another pair and had incredible bass ...
